Portable self-centering jig for cutting perfect lock mortices quickly and precisely in the workshop or on-site

  • Easy to set up and use
  • Adjustable Stops to control depth and length of cut.
  • Fixing system works on doors that have already been hung without damaging the surface, as well as horizontally
  • Adjustable door hook facilitates fast set up allowing for quick, repetitive mortice cuts
  • The door hook rests on top of a door or it can be inverted to set the unit at a pre-set height off the floor, making it perfect for batch work
  • Self-centering feature automatically centers cutter on the edge of the door, making it great for morticing grooved doors, or overlapping doors
  • Cuts mortices up to 100mm D and up to 200mm L
  • Accommodates door thicknesses up to 75mm
  • Hex drive shaft accepts ¼” shank router bits or the threaded Carbatec mortice cutters
