This combo comprises of a Right Gap Mortice and Cylindrical Jig and a Short Backset Mortice Jig with 53mm side rails.

The Right Gap Mortice and Cylindrical Jig has cutouts to fit the most common fire-rated mortice locks as well as tubular latch cutouts with a 60mm backset for drilling out spindle and screw fixing locations. It even features a 70mm backset hole to suit fire-rated lever sets. Underneath, center lines are printed onto the transparent faceplate, which gives the user confidence knowing that their marks will be spot on each time.

Cut outs on this jig suit Lockwood 35oo, Dorma Kaba MS 2600 & MS 2900 and Novas 6000 series fire rated mortice locks. Jig suits installation of tubular latch cut outs of 25.4mm x 57mm and mortice locks of 25.4mm x 175mm dimensions.  With cylindrical lock cutouts side by side, along with handle hole locations set to suit both cutouts – there’s no need to move up and down the door, eliminating any potential mistakes!

The rails have been designed to utilise the 1/4 Inch Rh Single Flute Spiral Up Cut Bit With Bearing Set Up to cut cylinder and spindle holes to again eliminate filing which will give your retro-fitting a precision factory finish.
