This jig is the perfect addition for any carpenter who specialises in commercial door installations. Designed and patented after years of expertise in the trade, this jig can completely transform a professional door installer’s workflow. Not only does it remove the risk of human error, it also increases productivity and ensures consistently accurate cutouts and quality every time.

Made from 12mm clear polycarbonate, this jig is built to last. It has cutouts to fit the most common fire-rated mortice locks as well as tubular latch cutouts with a 60mm backset for drilling out spindle and screw fixing locations. It even features a 70mm backset hole to suit fire-rated lever sets. Underneath, center lines are printed onto the transparent jig, which gives the user confidence knowing that their marks will be spot on each time.

The patented design makes it the only transparent jig on the market that incorporates faceplates, cylinders, spindle holes and screw fixing locations. With cylindrical lock cutouts side by side, along with handle hole locations set to suit both cutouts – there’s no need to move up and down the door, eliminating any potential mistakes!
